The EURAD project consists of activities on the prevention of radicalization and the subsequent protection of victims of terrorism. It has five specific objectives. The first objective is to develop dialogue-based activities as a way to prevent religious radicalization in Europe through the use of Sharia. The second is to build relationships between public actors, European-based Muslim communities, and relevant individuals to prevent the spread of extremism and violence. The project aims to provide support to victims of terrorism and their families and to conduct statistics and surveys on religious radicalization and local terrorism. Finally, the project proposes to disseminate or share this information between the public sector and social, non-state and third sector actors.
