Translation and study of the works belonging to the genre of storytelling, written in Judeo-Arabic, which are in the Hebrew collections of the Rare Book Section of the General Library and Archives of Tetouan.

These works are a clear example of the high degree of interculturality that existed between Jews and Maghrebi Muslims, with the shared use of the Arabic language, the Hebrew alphabet and the subject matter, which includes stories of Hebrew and Arabic origin. The Iraqi translation is preceded by a socio-literary study of the Judaeo-Maghrebi communities, where the works were published and located. It will be done in collaboration with the Institute of Peace and Conflict.
