Building on the success of the Programme in the 2014-2020 period, Erasmus+ – the EU’s flagship programme to boost education, training, youth and sport – is stepping up its efforts to increase the number of opportunities it provides and to reach even more participants and a wider range of organisations, focusing on the qualitative impact of the Programme and contributing to more inclusive and cohesive, greener and digitally-adapted societies.
The Erasmus+ Accreditation in Adult Education, the focus of this project, aims primarily to improve the quality and accessibility of lifelong learning across Europe. This is achieved through various strategies including the promotion of European values, the improvement of the quality of education, the professionalisation of the sector with in-service training of teaching staff and the development of the capacities of organisations offering adult education. Also, the adaptation to social needs by responding to the current demands of the labour market and society in general; inclusion and diversity and international cooperation.
The objectives of this project are:
– To create face-to-face and digital training itineraries/instances for the promotion of peer education in institutions and at community level, in order to promote inclusion with innovative methodologies.
– To promote the construction of solidarity networks at European level with other organisations at national and international level, favouring mutual cooperation.
– To create face-to-face and digital training itineraries/instances to update the curriculum of the staff and teachers of the organisations of the consortium.
