The project aims to diagnose, through surveys, opinion studies, literature reviews and interviews, the political and cultural effects of the Alliance of Civilizations on Spanish society, assess its points of effectiveness and ineffectiveness, its achievements, its capacities, its potentialities and its limitations, in order to identify possible lines of action that will increase the effectiveness of the Alliance of Civilizations, enhance the capacity of the Alliance to produce positive cultural effects on Spanish society, and raise the level of understanding, respect, adherence and sympathy.
